The following is a partial list of organizations supported by the Outreach Commission. For additional information about how each serves our community, click on the link to view their websites.

The Friendly Center
The Friendly Center provides assistance to more than 1,000 Orange County families every year. Programs include after-school tutoring, food distributions, and family counseling.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Sunday Supper
The Sunday Supper program provides dinner every Sunday evening. St. Paul Episcopal Church’s guests are seniors, families with children, men, and women who live on the streets. They live on a limited income and their lives are complicated. For a few hours each Sunday, they will be served a delicious meal, provided with groceries and treated with respect.

CHOC
CHOC, (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) provides high quality pediatric care to children.

DSAOC
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County is to create a place for connection, information and hope for people with Down syndrome and their families, to promote Down syndrome awareness through community outreach, and to offer programs, services and support that aim to empower individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential.

JDRF – Junior Diabetes Research Foundation
Millions of people around the world live with type 1 diabetes (T1D), a life-threatening autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults. There is no way to prevent it, and at present, no cure. JDRF works every day to change this by amassing grassroots support, deep scientific knowledge and strong industry and academic partnerships to fund research.

Casa Teresa
Casa Teresa provides a loving and supportive family home to pregnant women and their babies facing difficult circumstances, giving them hope and a future.  With a trusted and compassionate team of professionals and a proven Residential Program, our mothers learn lifelong skills to regain control of their futures and create families that thrive.

Muscular Dystrophy Association
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is fighting to free individuals — and the families who love them — from the harmful effects of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases so they can live longer and grow stronger.

Southwest Community Center
The Southwest Community Center provides food, clothing, shelter, guidance, health and referral services to economically disadvantaged individuals and families, assisting and encouraging those whom they serve to achieve self-sufficiency.

Breast Cancer Angels
The mission of Breast Cancer Angels is to provide financial and emotional assistance for women (and men) and their families as they go through breast cancer treatment.

The LGBTQ Center of Orange County
At the LGBTQ Center OC, all members and allies of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community of Orange County join together in a network of support and unity including life-affirming programs that focus on empowerment and advocacy efforts focus on speaking out against hate and discrimination.

The Youth Centers of Orange
The Youth Centers of Orange seeks to create a better tomorrow by providing mentoring, community engagement opportunities, enriching activities, and leadership and life skills development for the youth of today.

Mary’s Kitchen
The goal of Mary’s Kitchen is to provide compassionate care for the less fortunate of Orange County. All services are conducted in a manner aimed at preserving the dignity of our guests. Services include a food bank, clothing, hygiene products, medical checkups and financial support.
