Seniors Are Special
Organized nearly eleven years ago, Seniors Are Special has continued its mission of providing fellowship for the congregation’s senior members by a program combining spiritual growth, service and support for the church and community organizations, along with interesting speakers and excursions to places of local or historical interest. The group meets weekly in the Parish Hall on Tuesdays at 11:00 A.M. A brief business meeting and program are followed by a pot luck luncheon. While often featuring speakers from the community, many of the programs are also presented by members of the congregation.

Seniors Are Special plans to continue its ministry of service and fellowship and invites all interested members of the congregation to join us.

Unless otherwise noted, we gather at 11:00am in the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend the Seniors Are Special programs!

Tuesday, December 6 - 11:00 AM PAUL and CLARICE SCHICKLING, participants in programs for the Orange County Council on Aging and generous program providers for SAS, will present FRAUDS WHICH VICTIMIZE SENIORS. A POTLUCK LUNCH will follow their PROGRAM.

Tuesday, December 13 - 11:30 AM Celebrate the season! SAS will hold its ANNUAL HOLIDAY LUNCHEON at the Olive Garden. Meet at the restaurant at 11:30 AM. Please note the change in time!

There will be no more SAS meetings in December.

Programs will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
