Outreach at Trinity Church
 The ministry of the Outreach Commission of this parish is to express the heart and intention of our faith community to follow Jesus' example by serving those in need in our local community and by participating in activities which demonstrate our caring in a wider world.

Our Outreach Commission hosts many fundraiser's throughout the year to help with our community organizations. The goal is to raise over $10,000 a year, so that we might give donations throughout the community. We help such organizations as:
  • Down Syndrome Association of Orange County
  • Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
  • Mercy House
  • Friendly Center
  • CHOC Hospital
  • Southwest Community Center
  • Aids Foundation
  • Corazon

The Outreach commission has some fun events planned for 2011. We will continue to host our monthly Parish Dinners, Easter Breakfast, Harvest Breakfast and Barnes and Noble Faire. Plan on a fun old fashioned Tea Dance in the spring, clean out your closets for our summer garage sale, and we will once again host a Christmas Boutique in Novemeber. We will also have our teams walking at the MS Walk, Down Syndrome Walk, CHOC Walk, and Juvenille Diabetes Walk.

The Outreach Commission is looking forward to another year of helping the organizations that support those in need around our community. We appreciate all of you for your continued support into the New Year.

We are always eager to have new members for fresh ideas to help us serve the community. Come and join us on the first Tuesdayof each month in the library at 7:00 p.m.
